Bowfa zulrah

BowFa is a fucking beast in solo cox. shreds mystics, shamans, vanguards (I've caught myself actually hitting on wrong vanguards somewhat commonly while seeing if I can sneak a lil dps in) and it's a decent small mutta killer. All this under the assumption you have a tbow already, it's a bonkers upgrade if you do not.

Elite void is 12,5% damage and 10% accuracy and no ranged bonus. Crystal armor with barrows gloves is 15% damage and 30% accuracy with +70 range bonus. So you'll hit nearly as hard but waaaay less accurate. I'd say plenty better than rcb, prolly gonna be a bit of a struggle if you wanna do ranged only zulrah for example.Thralls, I do Bowfa only Zulrah with Serpentine Helm and thralls summon for maximum laziness while on mobile. Even if you get the blowpipe/serp/fang drop, you can't use it since it requires heavy scale upkeep, which requires more zulrah kills. If you use serp helm it gives negative range and mage bonuses, which slows down your kills. Anti-venom is also cheaper than the cost of scales in a serp helm. I do 4 kills/trip so I prefer to bring 1 anti venom pot (4) and use my slayer helm (i) instead of a serp helm. Slayer helm is +3 range +3 mage attack, while serp is -5, so in the end ...

Zulrah for example T bow is only about 5% more DPS than bowfa. Now if you only plan on doing the few bosses T bow slaps at then by all means keep it. But selling will open you to a lot more content without taking a huge hit on DPS where you’d otherwise use T bow. Bowfa only zulrah is so chill there is no way I'd take bp + mage switch over bowfa ever. For inferno I only use bp on bats, blobs and rangers. You definately don't need it there though, bowfa is more important than BP. But since bowfa zulrah is so super chill you mifht aswell go and get a bp.The FBow while on slayer task is the same DPS as full crystal armor off task. The bowfa is pretty bad without the armor. I would never use it without the armor except for shamans if no BP or want to save scales/darts. Nowhere, you need the armour set for it to be good. Pair that up with the blowpipe nerf, which “forces” many ironmen to grind out the bowfa as a substitute, and it makes going dry here quite a horrible experience. Especially when you consider: Length of the grind: It’s a 60-80 hour grind on rate for most ironmen depending on stats and skill. That’s longer than any other pvm grind in this ...
