Georgia Tech launched the Online Master of Science Computer Science (OMSCS) in 2014 as the first computer science master’s from an accredited university through a “massive online” format and for a fraction of the normal cost. With nearly 10,000 students and more than 2,000 alumni, OMSCS is now the largest master’s program in computer science in the U.S.

Through the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) Program, students work with faculty on large-scale, long term multidisciplinary project teams.
