My litter robot is not cycling

My litter robot stops upside down during cycling. I have owned my Litter Robot 3 for a little over a year and about a week ago it began to get stuck upside down when cycling. The litter box becomes unusable, and the wastebin is exposed. The yellow light is blinking. In order to fix it, I've been having to turn the unit off and back on.

For the most part everything was fine. However, today our litter robot didn't want to cycle anymore. There was no interruption in the app, no nothing, only the cat sensor activated and the litter box got stuck. We asked my mum to go and check on the cat before doing anything, and the cat was already outside the litter box when she arrived.The thing keeps cycling every 10-15 minutes. The light turns & stays blue (all clear) for ~15 mins after a cycle completes, before the litter robot "detects" a cat again and the light goes red. I've tried cleaning the IR sensors up front, but that didn't help. Exact same issue here. It stops upside down with the yellow light flashing insanely fast. Only solution is to unplug it, plug it back in and watch it spin 1.5 rotations and it will be back to normal.
