YJ OM617 Turbo Diesel. This is my first post to this forum, but I thought that this would be the best place to get the information that I am looking for. I am looking into buying a YJ that has the Mercedes I5 Om617 turbo diesel already installed in it. I have been looking for a YJ for a little while and decided that I wanted the 4.0 I6.

The exhaust is pretty simple - just a pipe out of the engine bay. The first section of the Mercedes pipe will make the exhaust work easier. Any radiator for a 5.0/Ranger swap should handle the cooling. Diesels are not generally hard to cool.
