I think the main problem at the time was software updates (it was around the time vizio added Disney+) but my xfinity WiFi cutting out might be the reason the tv freezes/closes apps now. Try a factory reset and see if that helps. Like I said, mine still blinked for a little while after it, but it eventually stopped.
